On October 13, volunteers of the Center “Everybody Can Help”, including Leonid Pokrytyuk, an expert at the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies, held a workshop “Making an owl from felt”. Psychologist, Gestalt, and art therapist Natalya Maslakova led this activity, and together with children of IDPs, they made the owls from colored scraps of felt material.
The participants regularly compared their handicrafts with the original – a little owl, which is cared for by eco-activists of the Berehovo Volunteer Center “Everybody Can Help”. Visitors to our center can learn a lot of interesting things about birds, participate in stork feeding, and admire a small hobby.
The event was held by an IERS expert with the participation of children of IDPs as part of the cooperation of the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies- IERS (headed by Alexander Bokotey) and the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU Bundesverband NABU International ), project coordinator Ivan Tymofeiev, Nataliya Kulya (IERS).
