Observation of long-eared owls

Observing owls is always of great interest. Sometimes they settle for a day’s rest on the territory of the count’s yard in Berehovo. You can hear about the ecological features of short-eared owls from our eco-activists, in particular from ornithology specialist, Leonid Pokrytyuk, IERS expert (in cooperation with the German Nature Conservation Union – NABU (NABU BundesverbandNABU International):

– WHAT ARE PELLETS?

– WHY DO OWLS CHOOSE CROWDED PLACES TO REST?

– FLY AWAY OR WINTERING HERE?

– HOW TO FIND LONG-EARED OWLS IN A THICK FIR

– WHAT DO THEY EAT?

The observation is conducted in such a way as to disturb and not frighten the owls as less as possible. In turn, they will be at their favorite rest spots.
