Project aim:

       Strengthening environmental education activities of IERS to form a responsible attitude to Creation – Nature in the conditions of war in Ukraine through the establishment of systematic and methodological work with multipliers: Transcarpathian Ecological and Naturalistic Centre for Young Learners (ZOENC), Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children, Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theatre “Bavka”, Spiritual Youth Center named after St. Pope JP2.

 

Project objectives

    1. Preparation and staging a quiz by puppet theatre actors, who will educate children about the importance of protecting the environment in a playful way. ach). The expected coverage of the direct target audience is 1 500 participants.
    2. A video series of practical educational materials “Let’s Preserve Biodiversity”.
    3. 18 information days on bird protection for IDPs and territorial communities in different territories of Transcarpathia.
    4. 18 birdwatching trips.
    5. Preparation and presentation of the exhibition based on current materials of the region and partners of the ” Winged heralds of the will “. The exhibition will be presented at 6 locations in Transcarpathia for maximum coverage of the target audience.
    6. Arrangement of a green class for visual actualization of nature management for children on the basis of the Spiritual Youth Center named after Pope John Paul II.
    7. Development of methodical materials for teachers.
