The workshop “Magic Spring” was held in Berehovo

On April 25th, a workshop on creating spring arrangements took place on the territory of the Count’s backyard in Berehovo. The event was called “Magic Spring” and was conducted by the biologist, and the expert of the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies, Leonid Pokrytyuk together with psychologist and creative person Natalia Maslakova. Leonid provided the event with “green material”, acquainted students with different types of plants and their features, and taught respectful treatment of nature.

The children learned what floristics is from Natalia and what tools and techniques are used by florist designers in their work. They learned to create flower arrangements. Everyone was creative doing his or her arrangement. Participants pleased each other with their work and learned a lot of useful and interesting things about plants and of course they had a good time.The event was held in cooperation with the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies – IERS (headed by Alexander Bokotey) and the German Nature Conservation Union (#NABU), project coordinator Ivan Tymofeiev.
