Actors of the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theater in cooperation with the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies launched a series of various creative actions intended to draw the attention of young viewers to the natural preservation, and care for the environment, animals, birds, and all living beings that surround the man.
On June 9th, young artists Hanna Lipechei and Daria Golyana held a theatrical eco-quiz “Get To Know Nature” with children on the basis of Preschool №15 of General Development of Uzhhorod City Council of Transcarpathian Region. Children guessed thematic riddles, talked about nature, and learned many interesting facts from the life of the inhabitants of our planet with the help of puppets. After the eco-quiz, the kids watched a puppet show based on the Ukrainian folk tale “Bunny Hut”. The performance took place in the fresh air of the kindergarten playground.
Problems of environmental protection are among the priorities of mankind, and they tried representing it in a playful way to show children the most important concepts in this field – interesting and responsible work – said director and artistic director of the theater Myroslav Petiy and chief director, Honored Artist of Ukraine Nataliya Oreshnikova. So, Transcarpathian puppeteers and the team of the Institute have many common plans and ideas ahead.
